Blake Mitchem [Senior]

I had the pleasure of taking senior portraits for Blake this week. The reason it was so important to me is because I grew up with his mother, and Blake was the first baby of the next generation. He was born the summer after my freshman year of high school and realizing that he is graduating this year kind of blows my mind.
Blake attends Fountain Square Academy so that is where I met him and his mom, Lisa.

Lisa had some location ideas in mind, and we drove around to different places downtown. She knew of this sculpture on Indiana Avenue and it really was pretty cool. I was able to get this authentic smile from Blake.
Lisa had an idea of shooting by this mural she'd seen with pencils and books. So far every time she had an idea I said, "No, we're not doing that.", but we went, it was neat, and we had fun with it. This is a goofy one that makes me giggle a little every time I look at it.
Before the mural, we passed some colorful, industrial doors. Naturally this made me super happy, so we went back after we had fun with apples.
Our last stop was so random. Driving up Mass Ave. I saw a super shady train bridge. It was awesome!

 Congratulations, Blake!
